It’s an odd feeling experiencing Bagyong Basyang for it’s the first typhoon we had in our new place. In our old place, you could feel the walls shaking as the harsh winds try to tear down our house. But last night was different, I am in a safe place where sturdy walls surround me.
The lights went out before midnight thus everyone here wasn’t able to work. Thankfully, Meli gave us mechanical flash lights that don’t use battery. We used that as our emergency light, placed it by the stairs pointing to the ceiling thus almost the whole living room and dining was lighted.
We chatted then eat then tried to watch a movie then eat again until there is nothing else to do. By three in the morning, we all went to sleep.
The electricity were back before lunch. Thankfully it was back now so we could cram back to tons of work we missed last night.
