The Narnia Fever

Posted on Updated on

One of the much-awaited movie that i am really looking forward this year is “Narnia: Prince Caspian”. It is the sequel for the fantasy fictional movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” which was shown last December 2005.

Prince Caspian

The movie was based on the fantasy novel by Clive Staples Lewis which was written on 1950. There are seven series of the books from 1950-56. Two of which already were already filmed. I am assuming that these series would be the next Harry Potter mania. Here is a quick list of the book novels:

  • The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1950)
  • Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia (1951)
  • The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (1952)
  • The Silver Chair (1953)
  • The Horse and His Boy (1954)
  • The Magician’s Nephew (1955)
  • The Last Battle (1956)

Even though the movie was meant for children, I can’t help myself from watching it and craving for movie. It is such a great movie and has a nice story line.

We went to Trinoma yesterday and luckily, a movie gallery was set-up in the theater lobby. This was a photo opp of course hehe 😀

Presenting… Prince Caspian!

the makers of Prince Caspian kept to the original story in some ways and strayed in others… i heard they were going to make it into a silly pure-action flick, but thankfully this was not the case
