Technically speaking, today is a national holiday but i am at work. The non-working date was moved to April 7.

And to remind us of what and why this day is celebrated, here is an excerpt from Araw ng Kagitingan at wikipedia

Araw ng Kagitingan (“Day of Valor” in Filipino) is a national holiday in the Philippines which commemorates the fall of Bataan during World War II. It falls annually on April 9, and is observed on the Monday nearest that date.

A salute to our fellow Filipino for their courage and valor.😀
